Garcia vs Easter Jr

In a battle to see who is the best lightweight in the world, Mikey Garcia defends his WBC title against IBF champion Robert Easter. Jr in a lightweight title unification bout on Saturday, July 28 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Garcia (38-0, 30 KOs) won the title in Jan. 2017, knocking out Dejan Zlatičanin in the third round. He moved up to 140 pounds in July of that year, defeating Adrien Broner by unanimous decision. Instead of going back down to 135 pounds, Garcia remained at junior welterweight and beat Sergey Lipinets to win the IBF belt in March to win his fourth world title in four different weight classes.
